Doing projects with and for culture drives us to devise every time new approaches and methods to apply the creative languages we use to reach the targeted audience. We cooperate with Public Bodies, other cultural enterprises, foundations, associations and cultural organizations in order to shape an innovative and solidly planned offer in line with our values.
Pantacon together with its cooperatives has a multitude of experiences to tackle the needs of the territory, so the consortium can suggest the best solutions to promote and give valor to the material and immaterial cultural heritage.
FattidiCultura was created in 2014, then the event became FATTICULT and has put Mantova at the center of the national debate on the theme of cultural innovation as engine for territorial development and growth, covering topics like urban regeneration, management of cultural spaces, cultural offer and socio-cultural projects. The event, which takes place at the end of September, has widened its perspectives year after year, strengthening and amplifying its contents, offering to the audience and cultural operators on the territory sessions, moments of analysis and detailed study and creative workshops. Thanks to the collaborations with CheFare and Fondazione Fitzcarraldo, FATTICULT has put Mantova in a strategic position which goes beyond its geographical borders, the city has become open to the dialogue with the most innovative experiences at national and European level. Since 2017 FATTICULT has also a spin-off event which takes place during springtime, FATTICULT RELOADED, allowing and in-depth analysis on key topics for the city. La Fiuma is a puppetry festival supported by the Municipality of San Benedetto Po and the Museo Civico Polironiano of San Benedetto Po, and it is coordinated and devised by Pantacon, with the artistic direction of Giorgio Gabrielli. Thanks to the financial support of Fondazione Comunità Mantovana/Fondazione Cariplo – through the call “Emblematici Minori” – the event took place for the first time in 2016 in the Polirone monastic complex in San Benedetto Po. The festival is a mixture of tradition and timeless entertainment with puppets, marionettes, Chinese shadows theatre and music to emphasize the importance of puppetry in the folk culture of the Po valley, making San Benedetto Po a propelling cultural center for the entire “Oltrepò Mantovano” area. Since 2016 MantovaScienza has brought together a series of conferences, debates, film shows and dissemination workshops on scientific topics, whose objective is increasing the awareness and attention towards new scientific researches and discoveries. The Municipality of Mantova, Education Department, supports the event in collaboration with Alkémica Cooperativa Sociale onlus, with the contributions of Lombardy Region and Tea Energia. Twelve intense days with highly specialized relators at national and international level, ready to tell Science trough an engaging and comprehensible format. Not only for the movie lovers, the festival presents also a great offer of movies on science topics, which are commented by experts and researchers working on the more innovative and groundbreaking fields. PUBBLICO NON PRIVATO (PNP)
PNP • Pubblico Non Privato it’s a project managed by Teatro Magro and Zero Beat supported by Fondazione Cariplo call on cultural participation, the project aims at stimulating the participation of citizens to the cultural activities in Mantova and its province. 40 “mobile spectators” have become part of the artistic direction, selecting with the operators the offer for the 2017/2018 program. Coming from all around the province of Mantova (aged between 16 and 70) the spectators have followed a training between May and June with experts such as Stratagemmi-Prospettive Teatrali based in Milan and the started the tour among the most important contemporary theater festival in Italy. "IncontrARTI arte in rete per l'inclusione sociale (network of arts for social inculsion)", it’s a project promoted by the system of Musei Mantovani which has carried out photography, sculpture and writing workshops in the civic museums of Mantova. The activities, devised by Pantacon,the Department for Mental Health and the civic museums, allow people and patients suffering from mental disorders to learn and teach the art of expressing freely. Targets of the projects are patients of the day care center for mental disorders, staff o museums in charge of education activities, teachers, social workers and citizens. These activities are the meeting point between different needs and know-hows, generating a shared experimentation. The project responded both to the need of the day care center of the Department for Mental Health of Mantova, which aimed at renovating its art workshop program tailored for its patients, and to the museums system of Mantova, which was looking for new subjects to share its art therapy and art didactic experimented in 2014 – 2016 thanks to the project “l’altro sguardo”. L'ALTRO SGUARDO, supported by the Province of Mantova in 2015 and 2016, was a didactic project aimed at the system of museums in Mantova, which consisted in the realization of didactic opportunities in different museums, supporting the museum staffs and organizing a final public seminar.
MUSEUMS, AUDIENCE, EDUCATION
During Fall 2017 Pantacon supervised the training and refresher courses for cultural operators, with a new series of conferences for museum workers, teachers, trainers and students of the didactic sector, as these activities were requested by Sistema dei Musei Mantovani. The program of events spanning from October to December consisted of seminars and conferences on different themes related to the cultural heritage and museums, like communication, audience, conservation and divulgation.

In its process of renovation and opening, the museum also got tablets, whose interactive contents for the visit have been devised, designed and realized by the students of Liceo Artistico “Giulio Romano”, an arts high school in Mantova, in collaboration with professionals and experts of museum didactic approaches and graphics. These devices are thought for children between age 6 and 12. Objective of the students who helped in the creation process, was to create animations, digital images, gaming examples, natural interaction and computer vision. All these contents were then translated into interactive contents for the tablets, allowing children to have a more engaging experience of discovery of the museum. Once gathered all the elements for the project the students, coordinated by their teachers, have developed the contents with the assistance of a programmer/game designer through a seminar and a workshop.
